The RPT-9000DH Dual Band Hybrid is a carrier class cellular extender and repeater for CDMA, GSM, 3G, 4G and AMPs.


The RPT-9000DH Hybrid is a dual-band, carrier-class cellular repeater and bi-directional amplifier (BDA) for 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G, GSM, CDMA, WCDMA, EDGE, EVDO, HSPA+, UMTS, LTE*, iDEN, TDMA, and AMPS. The unit can expand cellular coverage without adding a new cellular tower. In most applications, this can save up to 90% of new tower installations. Distances away from the cell tower can be up to ~ 80 km/50 miles or more**. The distance between Master and Slave units can be up to ~ 20 km/12 miles using single-mode fiber.

With the integrated Hybrid feature, the RPT-9000DH can extend RF over Fiber Optic cable to a fill antenna allowing access around large obstacles like mountains, canyons, and hills. 

Typical applications include filling valleys and shadow areas. Cellular extension to rural areas, underground tunnels, large buildings, emergency areas, and just about any location with limited or non-existent cellular reception.

Long-distance, Bidirectional link
The RPT-9000DH Hybrid extends cellular service up to 80 km/50 miles or more** with complete bidirectional service. This allows for full voice and data applications with little or no restrictions on the services you are accustomed to. If your cellular phone supports the Internet, email, or SMS, you will receive the same service over the repeater.

Extend multiple cellular providers
When extending cellular service with RPT-9000DH Hybrid, the capability to repeat more than one cellular provider is possible. If the cellular towers for multiple providers are in the range of the Pickup (donor) antenna, those services will be repeated since the RPT-9000DH is agnostic to the provider and repeats everything in the designated frequency. Since the cellular frequency is licensed and owned only by the cellular providers, you receive their services and nothing else. In addition, there are antenna options for cell towers that are not in the same location.

Reach hard to reach places with the Hybrid
Some applications may not have a direct line of sight. There may be a large hill or mountain blocking the site between the cellular tower and the area fill location where cell signal is needed. By running armored fiber optic cable above or below ground between the RPT-9000H Master unit (donor antenna side facing the cell tower) and the Slave unit (area fill side facing the users), cellular service can be extended in areas where coverage was non-existent.

The alternative to Satellite, Wi-Fi, and Phone lines
Providing emergency voice services to rural, underground, or hard-to-reach places can be a challenge. A popular choice is a satellite that can be effective in certain applications except for the high cost, complex technical equipment, and restrictions not inherent in cellular services. The use of Wi-Fi has many limitations including distance. Traditional phone lines will not solve the problem since they are fixed and not mobile. The same is true for traditional microwave and ISM solutions. The obvious choice is to extend 2G/3G/4G/5G cellular service where available and maintain all the features with the RPT-9000. With cellular services, the complex technology is hidden, you only require the cellular signal. The RPT-9000 regenerates a clear and strong signal.
