Yes, the IDRPT-9000 has a built-in remote access system that allows you to check parameters such as receiver and transmitter gain, voltage levels, power usage and more from a standard web browser. The IDRPT-9000 must be attached to the Internet or a private IP network.
Yes, the IDRPT-9000 has a built-in email option that can be triggered by setting alarm thresholds. Once a threshold setting is met, the unit will email an alert to the specified email address.
The IDRPT-9000 was designed to give you a cell tower experience with solid performance, superior audio and high data rates. When you introduce more than a single frequency into a repeater, it requires you to design a repeater differently and accept performance trade-offs. Some of these trade-offs include reduced distance reach, data rates and number of phones supported simultaneously. For small applications with a few users and a relatively close cell tower this might be acceptable, but XPANDAcell believes in a superior product, reliability and transparency to the user.
No, you are not required to notify the cellular carrier, but most installations notify them as a courtesy. They let the cellular carrier know they have adjustable gain which will be adjusted in order not to interfere with the local cell tower. They may also provide contact in case the timing method in the cellular tower needs to be extended for longer distance applications.
Please see the following FCC website for further clarification.
No, you can install with manual dip switch settings, or you can use the simple Web Browser to configure over the Internet or private IP network. Most features for the Web Browser interface are related to monitoring and alerting.
We utilize positioning of antennas and attenuation control to eliminate this problem. The use of quality antennas like AMP, Antel, or Tiltek is suggested. The antennas should be placed around 70 feet (21 m) apart from each other. It does not matter if it is vertical or horizontal spacing, though horizontal should increase distance by at least 10 feet. The repeater also contains a Smart Oscillation detection feature to prevent damage.
The unit has built-in protection from over amplification, oscillations, loose connections, incorrect antennas, signal reflection, and other issues that can cause the amplifier to saturate. This includes SWR (Standing Wave Radio).
The unit currently shipping repeats the most popular cellular frequency in North America,700, 800, 850, and 1900 MHz. Other frequencies will follow. The 900/1800 MHz international version can be purchased, but will not have FCC certification.
The IDRPT-9000 is an indoor cellular extender and repeater for CDMA, WCDMA, GSM, EDGE, 3G, 4G, and AMPs. From up to 20 km/25 miles away, the IDRPT-9000 takes a cellular signal from a cell tower(s) and repeats it to a building or structure with limited or no reception indoors.
The IDRPT-9000 also adds web-based access for configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting via IP.
Currently, 850 MHz and 1900 MHz are available and FCC certified. The 900/1800 MHz models are available without FCC certification.
The unit is:
16"x12"x3", 41x31x8 cm
weight:
The RF power output of the IDRPT-9000 is +27 dBm RMS
The unit comes with a 2-year manufacturer warranty on the hardware. This includes defective parts. The unit must be sent in for repair depot service. The repair time is 1 day. If it is received in the morning, it will go out repaired the same day.
The IDRPT-9000 can withstand -40c to 60C temperatures.
The IDRPT-9000 is transparent to the type of service or information within the service. It is only concerned with the frequency. This means the unit will pass CDMA, GSM, 3G, 4G or AMPs transparently. The RPT-9000 passes the voice, data or video to the cell phones transparently.
The unit can support either 90-230vac or 24/48vdc power. The units use no more than 50 watts of power.
The IDRPT-9000 can be mounted inside or outside the building, warehouse, or structure. The case is hardened and weatherproof.
The unit has (4) mounting holes, two at each end. It can be mounted to wood, metal, or drywall. Cabling can then be run to the outside donor antenna and the inside fill antenna.
Yes, since the IDRPT-9000 only cares about the frequency and not the type of service, it will pass all the features that are provided to your cell phone.
