    Do I have to consider the distance of the fiber cable when figuring the distance of the entire solution? Open

    Yes, since light travels slower in a fiber cable than in a vacuum, there will be a slight delay that must be taken into consideration for the overall distance to the donor cell tower. The cell tower uses a timing scheme to determine when it should let go of a cellular device and hand it off to another cell tower.
